Alternative curriculum group.

for the last three days Mike Brownlow and I have been out with a group of young people who are based at transition extreme at an alternative curriculum scheme.
We have had a great three days out working on teamwork and leadership skills while canoeing on the river Dee and coasteering at the cliffs around Cove bay. The group progressed well threw the week and worked hard at their goals so well done guys.

Today Alistair and I were out with Edward and 15 friends from Park House on the river Dee. We did a short section of the river but that didn't stop everyone getting wet as they were thrown in by their so-called friends during some very lively games! This was a great wee trip and fun was had by all. Looking forward to the next one!

Coasteering at Cove

Today I was Coasteering with members of Grampian Fire & Rescue Service. Conditions were great for it and the water was nice and clear with a good swell coming through for some added excitement!

Today we went for a walk along the Moray Coast and caught the sun setting over the sea which made spectacular views.

Rock Climbing at Ballater

Today I was climbing and abseiling at the Pass of Ballater with Duncan and his family from America. We tackled some great routes and had the whole crag to ourselves. The weather was perfect for their first day rock climbing and a fantastic venue for an introduction to Scottish rock.
